This Sunday, July 2nd, at 11:30 a.m., is the Frederick CUUPS Open Board Meeting.  We will meet in room 124 after Sunday Service at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Frederick.

Are you interested in getting more involved with Frederick CUUPS? Or just curious as to how our organization works? Feel free to attend our upcoming Open Board Meeting. At the meeting, we will:

~Table any issues for discussion that need to be aired
~Plan and assign the rituals for the remainder of 2017
~Plan and assign the Earth Services for the remainder of 2017
~Talk about Pagan Pride Day
~Talk about the next Midwinter Ball

On the longest day of the year, with the Sun at its highest point in the sky, we rejoice in the Sun’s life-giving warmth and ability to make things grow. We will share a Litha celebration (led by Lora) on Saturday, June 24th, at 7:45 pm.  All Frederick CUUPS rituals are family-friendly and open to everyone, and this ritual will include a drumming portion – please bring hand percussion if you would like to drum!  If you would like to assist with setup, Frederick CUUPS members will begin getting the ritual space ready at 7 pm. This year’s ritual will focus on giving energy back to the beautiful Earth that sustains us.  Lora created a great video teaching the chants that we will be using.  Click here to watch it and learn the chants 🙂  A snack/dessert potluck will follow the ritual, please clearly LABEL any offerings with the ingredients included.
