On the longest day of the year, with the Sun at its highest point in the sky, we rejoice in the Sun’s life-giving warmth and ability to make things grow. We will share a Litha celebration (led by Lora) on Saturday, June 24th, at 7:45 pm.  All Frederick CUUPS rituals are family-friendly and open to everyone, and this ritual will include a drumming portion – please bring hand percussion if you would like to drum!  If you would like to assist with setup, Frederick CUUPS members will begin getting the ritual space ready at 7 pm. This year’s ritual will focus on giving energy back to the beautiful Earth that sustains us.  Lora created a great video teaching the chants that we will be using.  Click here to watch it and learn the chants 🙂  A snack/dessert potluck will follow the ritual, please clearly LABEL any offerings with the ingredients included.
