Good morning! We are so excited to see you this evening at the Masquerade! A few notes for this evening:
Time: Doors open at 7 pm and close at 10 pm. Please be sure to arrive before 10. The Masquerade ends at midnight.
- 7 pm Doors open
- 8 pm performance by Tribal Belly Dance Troupe Amandari
- 11 pm Costume Contest
- 12 am Masquerade ends
Parking and Shuttle: Parking is available at the event site and a shuttle will be running from the Park and Ride at the intersection of Elmer Derr Road and Mount Zion Road. If parking at the UUCF is full, park at the Park and Ride and watch for the shuttle. It will be a large van with a sign saying ‘Masquerade Shuttle’ in the window. The shuttle runs from 6:30 pm – 12:30 am.
Tickets: Please know the name you ordered tickets under, it’s the easiest way to look them up for us. We do have tickets available at the door ($50), so feel free to bring a friend!
BYOB: This event is BYOB. Please bring whatever you would like to drink and glasses (we’ll have some for use as well). We will once again offer a table for a Potluck Bar. If you would like to bring beverages to share, you’re welcome to add them to the table.
Glitter: Please try to use glitter sparingly and avoid costumes that leave a trail of it. It is ecologically unhealthy (ends up in the water supply) and difficult to clean up.
Conduct: Frederick CUUPS is dedicated to providing a harassment-free and inclusive event experience for everyone regardless of gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disabilities, neurodiversity, physical appearance, body size, ethnicity, nationality, race, age, religion, or other protected category. We do not tolerate harassment of event participants in any form. Individuals in violation of this policy will be asked to leave and will not be refunded.
Shopping! Please remember to bring some spending money for our wonderful vendors!
