Sacred Language Workshop

What is Sacred Language and what role does it play in prayer? What is the difference between ceremony and ritual, and how does Sacred Language influence these activities? Is Sacred Language important and what is the point? How is Sacred Language used in the “manifestation of sacred power?” Join TJ for an exploration of these questions and more as we delve into the mystery of Sacred Language and how understanding it can increase confidence, bring deeper understanding to our spiritual life, and influence how we approach our prayer lives, rituals and ceremony. Join us as we look at various writings and texts, and learn how to incorporate Sacred Language into our lives and increase our sacred power.

Full Moon Divination Circle

This facilitated open discussion circle is an opportunity for the FCUUPS community to meet up and exchange ideas and techniques surrounding the different types of divination we all use. Yoga with Irene
Tuesdays and Fridays at 10 am Support your mind, body and spirit with yoga. One of the best ways we can stay resilient and healthy is to exercise and cultivate mindfulness. These donation classes with E-RYT 200 Irene Glasse are drop-in friendly and open to everyone. Email CUUPS(at)FrederickUU(dot)org for the Zoom link.   Irene teaches Yoga for Advancing Beginners on Tuesdays and Fridays at 10 AM ET. An Advancing Beginners class is most accessible to people who have some basic familiarity with yoga and are able to comfortably take low lunge (lunge with one foot forward and the back knee touching the mat), tabletop, warrior two and other foundational yoga poses.
